Lawmakers in the Columbus are looking to double the personal income tax cut passed by the House in April, increasing the cut to 5% across-the-board for all Ohioans.

Ohio expects to record a year-end surplus. Given the good news, lawmakers are rightfully seeking to return some hard-earned taxpayer dollars back to Ohioans.
